MPB Master Plan Celebration Lawn Area Update

The area that is in front of the New Surf Lifesaving Club Building and the foreshore where the old Surf Club was is part of the Moore Park Beach Master Plan works. This area is referred to as the Celebration Lawn Area (see concept plan below).

Additional funds were needed to be approved before the planned works could commence. These additional funds were allocated in the 2025-2026 Budget which was adopted in June. These funds plus the reprovisioned funds that were remaining will allow this area to be done this financial year. Council is currently working with State departments to finalise approvals as the original plan had to be altered due to the erosion events. When this approval is in place works will commence.
