Election Day 2024

The vote counting continues and it’s still looking encouragingly good, but with postal votes, North Bundaberg, and declaration votes still to come in and be counted, it will be a while until ECQ declares any positions and we are able to be officially sworn in.

I just want to take this opportunity to give all my wonderful family & supporters who help us during this (what I would call and seemed) very long election period a big shout out and say THANKYOU!

We could not have done it without your help. From just providing positive support and kind words during the campaign, to handing out how to vote cards on election day, every little bit helped and got us through. Your support, friendship and loyalty that was provided was exceptional and I am truly humbled by the way you all rallied for the cause and stepped up to ensure that I continue to be your Councillor, thank you all so very much.

In the rush of election day, we did not seem to get photos of all our amazing team of helpers, and I apologise for this. If you do have any photos, please send them to me and we will include them as part of this tribute.
