Community Clean up after floods

A big shout out to everyone that have come forward to do their bit to ensure that our Region is cleaned up after the big flood. The say that the worst of times brings out the best in people and this couldn’t be truer at the moment across our Region.

A big THANK YOU to those picking up rubbish and flood debris along the beach and foreshore at MPB, the bins are starting to fill, and to the Burnett Downs residents (you know who you are) who have taken on the task of removing all the silt and mud build up on the access road to the Rustic Rd boat ramp and turn around area.

You have done an amazing job cleaning up these areas for the community. Well done.
